What to Expect at the Finding True Self Workshop
Do you ever feel stuck in the same emotional patterns, even when you know you want to change?
Maybe you struggle with self-doubt, find it difficult to let go of the past, or feel disconnected from your sense of purpose.
Sometimes, no matter how much we try to think positively or change our habits, we still find ourselves returning to familiar reactions and patterns.
But what if some of the peace, love, confidence, and clarity you have been searching for are already within you?
At Body & Brain, we help people develop greater awareness of their body, mind, and energy so they can look beyond familiar patterns and reconnect with what we call the True Self—the deeper essence of who they are.
The Finding True Self workshop is an experiential self-discovery program designed to help participants explore emotional patterns, limiting beliefs, and familiar ways of reacting while creating space for greater self-awareness, acceptance, and personal growth.
What May Be Standing Between You and Your True Self?
Throughout our lives, we accumulate experiences, beliefs, emotions, and expectations that influence how we see ourselves and the world around us.
Over time, some of these can develop into familiar patterns of fear, self-judgment, resentment, insecurity, or limiting beliefs. Without realizing it, we may begin to identify so strongly with these patterns that they feel like part of who we are.
In Body & Brain practice, these accumulated identities and conditioned patterns may be described as the False Self.
The False Self is not something bad or something that needs to be rejected. It refers to the layers of thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and reactions that can sometimes make it harder to recognize our deeper nature clearly.
As we explored in our previous blog, What Is True Self?, True Self is deeper than these changing thoughts, emotions, roles, and experiences. It refers to the deeper part of ourselves connected with qualities such as love, peace, acceptance, creativity, and purpose.
But intellectually understanding the idea of True Self and actually experiencing it can be very different.
The Finding True Self workshop creates an opportunity to explore some of the layers that may be shaping your current experience and discover what becomes possible when you look beyond them.
What Happens During the Finding True Self Workshop?
True Self is not something we discover through intellectual understanding alone. Direct experience plays an important role.
Developed by Body & Brain founder Ilchi Lee, the Finding True Self workshop uses guided experiential activities, interactive exercises, meditation, energy practices, and self-reflection to help participants explore themselves more deeply.
Unlike regular Body & Brain classes, which support body awareness, energy circulation, relaxation, and balance through ongoing practice, Finding True Self provides a more concentrated experience of self-exploration.
Throughout the workshop, participants are invited to observe familiar thoughts, emotions, habits, and beliefs that may have influenced their sense of identity.
